Ten years ago, before I was initiated into the world of spirituality, a friend of my good friend told me about the beautiful wings I had. He would often talk about the colours or aura he saw on me. Being so new and barely initiated, I could only nod and smile in agreement, hardly believing what he said. When I was first pregnant, he also described my baby's energy to me. Beautiful comments but I would only believe that much.
Time passed. I lost one of the wings of my mini Archangel Gabriel statue during my house move two years ago. I was upset but another friend consoled me that I would find it again. That kept me wondering how it could be possible. True enough, the other wing was found more than a year later. It manifested itself in a colourful wing left behind by a butterfly; it was found on my sofa and exactly at the side where I lost it. The Universe has amazing ways to send the magic. Nothing is that much of a coincidence.
There was more information than the wing replacement itself. The butterfly wing presented key ideas of rebirth, cocoon and transformation. Rebirth, in this sense, referred to the new wings I received. It brought with it the readiness of change, flight and potential. While, cocoon referred to the period of spiritual struggle and the unknown which I went through during my two-year stint as a stay-at-home mum. It was a period of patience and more patience that I had to endure. Finally, transformation was the host of changes and experiences that came, with the Bali retreat as the final push through the cocoon for the butterfly to eventually emerge. Again, these ideas were hinted to me by the Universe. Such ideas would appear in my children's storybooks, documentary shows, advertisements and my friends' Facebook status updates. Never limit or doubt how the Universe will send the blessings. You could only be short-changing yourself.
Today, the friend of my good friend is the founder of an award-winning spiritual centre in Singapore. He followed his true heart desires and sought the path of his life purpose. May you also find your life purpose and soar beyond.
In violet love and joy,
